Orkla’s investment in Nói Siríus completed

In its press release of 22 August 2019, Orkla announced that it had signed an agreement to purchase 20% of the Icelandic company Nói-Siríus HF (“Nói Siríus”), Iceland’s leading chocolate and confectionery manufacturer.

The transaction has been approved by relevant competition authorities, and was completed today. The company’s profit will be booked in Orkla’s financial statements as from 1 December 2019 as part of Profit/loss from associates and joint ventures.
