OssDsign awarded 3D Medical Printing Products agreement with Premier Inc.
Uppsala, Sweden, 08:00 CET, 5 July 2021 – OssDsign, a global provider of reconstructive orthopaedic solutions for treatment of patients who have suffered from cranial or spinal bone defects, has been awarded a group purchasing agreement for 3D Medical Printing Products and Accessories with Premier Inc. The new agreement allows Premier members, at their discretion, to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for OssDsign’s cranial reconstructive solutions.
“We are pleased to have been awarded an agreement with Premier, which opens up a valuable distribution network for OssDsign’s innovative solutions on the US market. The agreement is a clear recognition of the high quality of our cranial reconstruction portfolio and their potential in helping skilled surgeons to treat patients,” comments Morten Henneveld, CEO, OssDsign AB.
OssDsign’s proprietary titanium-reinforced calcium phosphate implants are designed for the reconstruction of cranial defects, an area where post-operative infections are considered among the most common complications. Published data as well as clinical experience with OssDsign Cranial PSI show low observed early post-operative infection rates leading to implant explantation.
