Changes in Outokumpu’s Leadership Team

Marc-Simon Schaar (M.Sc. International Business) has been appointed as Chief Procurement Officer and member of Outokumpu Leadership Team with immediate effect.

Marc-Simon Schaar has been working at Outokumpu since 2011 in senior roles in finance, M&A and raw materials procurement, most recently as SVP, Raw Materials Procurement.

Through this newly established role combining raw material and general procurements, we can ensure immediate synergies throughout our purchasing operations in, for example, mitigating the impact of cost pressure. Marc-Simon Schaar is based in Germany and reports to CEO Heikki Malinen. Chief Procurement Officer is a new role in the company.
