Outokumpu appoints Saara Tahvanainen as head of global external communications and media relations

Ms. Saara Tahvanainen has been appointed head of external communications and media relations for Outokumpu as of 19 March 2012. She will report to Kari Tuutti, SVP - Communications, Investor Relations and Marketing.

Ms. Tahvanainen will be responsible for Outokumpu's external communications and media relations globally. Ms. Tahvanainen has over a decade of experience in corporate communications with global reach. She has a master’s degree in Communications and is specialised in change and crisis communication and corporate responsibility communications. She will be based at Outokumpu's head office in Espoo, Finland. She joins Outokumpu from Nokia where she has been responsible for global communications of the Markets Unit of Nokia.
