Outokumpu obtains credit rating from Moody’s

Outokumpu is pleased to announce that international credit rating agency Moody's Investors Service, Inc has today announced their credit rating and outlook assigned to Outokumpu Oyj.

Moody’s assigned Outokumpu Oyj a first time issuer corporate family rating (CFR) of B3 and B3-PD probability default rating (PDR). In addition, Moody’s assigned B2 rating to the EUR 250 million senior secured notes due 2019 issued by Outokumpu. The outlook on the ratings is positive.

Says Outokumpu CEO Roeland Baan: “Outokumpu’s priority will remain on improving financial position of the company and deleveraging through further improvement in profitability and free cash flow generation in order to continuously improve such ratings.”
