48 Heavy Horses to Compete at The National Brewery Centre

Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, UK – Final preparations are being made for the inaugural Heavy Horse Show that’s taking place on the 12th of September, 2010, at the UK’s leading brewing museum, The National Brewery Centre, Burton upon Trent. The competition, which celebrates the iconic Heavy Horse breeds from around the region, will see an impressive total of 48 horses compete. Cllr David Leese, Mayor of East Staffordshire will officially open the event, which will include a variety of different entry classes, giving visitors the perfect chance to get up close to the magnificent creatures.

Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, UK – On the 12th of September, 2010, The National Brewery Centre will be hosting a Heavy Horse Show competition in celebration of iconic heavy horse breeds from around the region, which will include the Centre’s very own pair of Shires, Trooper and Major. The event will be judged by one of the country’s top horse breeders Tom Fountain, who, over the past 50 years, has won countless awards and accolades in show and breeding competitions.
