Stars From The Commitments to perform at Conkers

Moira, nr.Swadlincote, South Derbyshire – On the 29th of August, 2010, Conkers, in the National Forest, will see The Stars From The Commitments, perform an outstanding and highly-acclaimed live soul show. Described by soul legend Wilson Pickett as “the guys that are keeping soul music alive”, the show features all the classic hits from the movie plus many more all-time soul classics. The band, derived from the award-winning Alan Parker movie ‘The Commitments’, includes original cast members from the film, and features Kenneth McCluskey on guitar who played Derek ‘The Meatman’ Scully, and
