Proper HVAC pipework and equipment insulation play a key role in terms of a building’s optimal operation. Paroc, as a leading manufacturer of technical insulations, presents PAROC Hvac GreyCoat – a durable and effective stone wool product family designed for visible installations.
PAROC Hvac GreyCoat products were designed in accordance with all requirements for thermal and condensation insulations of pipework, air ducts and ventilation equipment – the offer consists of fully complementary slabs, mats, pipe sections, bends, end flanges and protective tapes. Due to the natural properties of stone wool, PAROC Hvac GreyCoat products provide a number of end-user oriented benefits, e.g. preventing heat loss, ensuring indoor acoustic comfort and fire safety, as well as protecting steel elements against corrosion.
Designed mainly for visible pipework in office, recreation or retail buildings (i.e. convenience stores, shopping malls etc.), all system elements come with a reinforced grey aluminium foil facing and tape in the longitudinal seam which not only prevents condensation, but also brings quick, easy and economical fitting. Prefabricated grey lacquer cladding provides an aesthetic finish, without needing an additional coating.
All PAROC Hvac GreyCoat insulation products are classified with A2-s1,d0 reaction to fire class corresponding with the “non-combustible material” classification, meeting requirements set out for technical insulations. Paroc stone wool insulations do not produce burning droplets and significant emissions, thus do not contribute to the fire spreading.
