Organizer of MMA gala offers mobile commerce in co-operation with Payair

IRFA, an organization that arranges martial arts galas, launches a co-operation with Swedish Payair. The partnership will enable customers to buy tickets to the prestigious MMA gala at Solnahallen, Stockholm on March 9th directly through the customer’s mobile phone. Thanks to Payair’s solution for mobile commerce, tickets can be purchased in advance on IRFA´s website, as well as physically at the entrance at Solnahallen on March 9th.

Payair is a leader within the mobile shopping industry and it’s solution is widely used in both e-commerce and physical retail shops. Payair launched commercially in 2011.

The partnership with Payair allows IRFA to offer it´s customers the ability to buy tickets to the galas that the organization arranges in an easier way.

“This is perfect for our target audience, as it consists mainly of young people who currently lives with their smart phones. I am convinced that the majority of those who attend our galas prefer to purchase tickets with their smart phone if it is possible”, says Christer Radecky, CEO at IRFA.

The co-operation with Payair makes it possible to buy tickets through mobile phones already to the big MMA gala in Solnahallen March 9. Tickets can be purchased with mobile telephone both in advance on IRFA´s website and physically at the entrance at the sports arena.

“This means that neither the organizer, nor the audience will have to deal with cash in the traditional way at the event. In addition, you can buy tickets directly from the gala posters by scanning the QR-code on the poster”, says Christer Radecky.

Parallel to IRFA´s investment in mobile commerce, it has also become possible to purchase training and fighting clothes from IRFA´s partner, Pitbull Sweden, directly through a customer’s mobile phone. Pitbull´s clothing has just been launched in Sweden and Payair’s mobile commerce solution will be made available to it’s customers.
