Changes in Peikko’s management
Christian Gerke has been appointed Vice President, Sales and Mervi Kainulainen Vice President, Marketing and Communications as of 12 of August 2024. They both will be members of the Management Team for Peikko Group and report directly to the CEO Topi Paananen.
Christian Gerke has over 20 years of solid and extensive experience at Peikko and is currently acting as one of the Managing Directors for Peikko Deutschland GmbH. Christian has also held several sales positions in the company, being part of growing the business in the DACH region from some millions of euros to the current, close to 50 MEUR level.
Mervi Kainulainen has over 15 years of strong and versatile experience in marketing and communications roles within the energy and construction industries. Mervi has been working at Peikko for more than seven years and currently holds the position of Marketing Director for Peikko Group.
At the same time with the above changes, Tobias Althaus will take the role of sole Managing Director for Peikko Deutschland GmbH. Kim Salvén, the current Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Peikko, will end his career at the company during August 2024.
