Topi Paananen has been appointed as Honorary Consul of Latvia in Lahti, Finland

CEO Topi Paananen has been appointed as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia in Lahti, Finland.

Honorary consuls are appointed by foreign governments to represent the interests of their citizens in another country.

Topi Paananen, M.Sc. (Econ) has been working as CEO of Peikko Group since 2010. Peikko Group Corporation is a leading global supplier of slim floor structures and connection technology for precast and cast-in-situ construction. Peikko has had a Sales and Engineering team in Latvia since 2008, serving many important customers. In 2019, Peikko and Riga Technical University (RTU) extended their cooperation with a new agreement to identify research topics for master's theses and Ph.D. work for RTU students and facilitate internships at Peikko, among other activities.
