Polish steel structure manufacturer and supplier Tarkon Sp. z.o.o. has placed an order for an automated PEMA welding solution. The order includes two PEMA Robot Welding Stations and is a significant investment for the company’s global projects in the renewable energy industry, and their wide steel structure markets.

Tarkon facilities are located in Tarnobrzeg near Tarnobrzeskie Lake, on Southern East of Poland, Subcarpathian Voivodeship.

Pemamek has received an order from Polish Tarkon Sp. z.o.o. The order includes two automated PEMA Robot Welding Stations to meet the company’s increased demand for welding capacity. The large-scale investment in a modern automated welding production solution line is part of Tarkon’s future strategy to grow in the focus area projects in renewables and offshore markets. The line’s automated technology reduces manual work, producing a high-quality final product efficiently, shortening the implementation time, and improving working ergonomics in Tarkon’s key production processes. The solution is designed to produce steel constructions and industrial installations and it will enhance the repeatable and complicated welding processes in various metal products.

“Our company is constantly striving to evolve, and our focus is on continuous development. With this important and big investment in modern PEMA solution, we can produce the highest quality of our products utilizing this innovative technology and it will be a significant benefit for us in the future”, says Tomasz Sokołowski, Chief Procurement Officer at Tarkon. “PEMA could offer the best robotic solution for our needs, and we were especially satisfied with all the technical support and flexible help we got in the planning and preparing stage of the process. This is a great opportunity for us to grow and meet even the most challenging customer requirements in the future”, he continues.

The investment includes Pemamek’s support for both, the search for welding parameters and the station's lifecycle services. The investment covers a maintenance contract that includes annual maintenance, updates, and remote support. Additionally, Pemamek delivers production support, training, and installation supervising, tailored to Tarkon's needs.

“During the project, based on a number of very informative and friendly discussions and meetings with the customer, we were able to offer a very versatile and flexible robotic solution, equipped with PEMA WeldControl offline software, which seems to be simply ideal for such diverse production as Tarkon has”, Jan Chrzanowski, Area sales manager (Poland) at Pemamek, summarizes. The automated solutions will be delivered and ready for production at the beginning of 2023.
