About Us

Pieminister – the creation of brothers-in-law Tristan Hogg and Jon Simon – is the undisputed leader of the pie revolution and was founded in Bristol in 2003. After many months mixing, baking and tasting, the first pie range was born and included the Matador Pie (British beef steak, chorizo, olives, butter beans, sherry and tomatoes) the Heidi Pie (Somerset goats’ cheese, sweet potato, red onion, spinach and roasted garlic) and the PM Pie (British beef steak, kidneys, fresh herbs and real ale). Pieminister only uses free range British chicken and dairy, farm assured meat and fish certified by the Marine Stewardship Council. Every pie in the core range is a Great Taste Awards Winner. Pieminister has re-invented the pie for a new, younger generation and today, pieminister is stocked in fine food halls, delis and pubs nationwide, has a huge presence at all the leading music festivals, and runs a highly successful and expanding chain of shops and stalls as well cooking up pies at private events and weddings throughout the year.
