Change in Pihlajalinna Plc’s Management Team 

Pihlajalinna will reorganise the responsibilities related to communications and investor relations inside the Management Team starting from the beginning of December. Pauli Waroma has been appointed as Head of Marketing and Communications. Waroma previously served as Pihlajalinna’s Head of Marketing. CFO Ville Lehtonen is responsible for investor relations.

Taina Erkkilä, Master of Arts, has been appointed as Pihlajalinna Group’s Head of Communications and IR. She will start in her new position on 14 January 2019. The Head of Communications and IR reports to the Head of Marketing and Communications and acts as the Group’s Management Team secretary.

“Closer cooperation between marketing and communications in the future ensures that our story will be heard better in different channels. Due to our capitation-based business expertise, we have a significant role in the social and healthcare reform. The focus will shift from treating sicknesses to keeping people healthy,” says Pauli Waroma, Head of Marketing and Communications.

Taina Erkkilä has worked in communications at the management level at, for example, Fortum, Huhtamäki, Nissan and most recently at the University of Jyväskylä.
