Change in Pihlajalinna Plc’s Management Team

Sari Nevanlinna (M.Sc.(Econ), M.Soc.Sc) has been appointed as Pihlajalinna’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). She will start as a member of the management team on 1 March 2022 and will report to the CEO.

Nevanlinna will move to Pihlajalinna from the Port of Helsinki, Europe’s busiest passenger port, where she has led the passenger business unit. Before that, she worked at Finnair in strategically important roles including as the head of the ancillary business and ground experience.

The position of a chief commercial officer is new to Pihlajalinna. The chief commercial officer oversees the development of the consumer business, customer experience and services as well as marketing, digital sales, service concepts and new products.

Private healthcare will play a key role as the industry undergoes major changes. Pihlajalinna has excellent opportunities to build the multichannel services of our future healthcare with customer experience at the forefront. It is a joy to join the Pihlajalinna team, Nevanlinna comments.

I am very happy to welcome Sari to Pihlajalinna. Her expertise and experience in service business leadership roles in challenging business environments provides our team with competence in digital services and customer-oriented development as well as capability to realise strategic reforms. I am pleased that we can strengthen Pihlajalinna’s management team with the diverse expertise that Sari brings, Aaltonen says.
