PolarCool AB (publ) signs agreement with Västerås IK in HockeyAllsvenskan

PolarCool has signed an agreement with Västerås IK for one (1) PolarCap® System. The hockey club will use PolarCap® System for the remainder of the current season. Västerås IK will thus become the reference team in HockeyAllsvenskan and the collaboration is expected to be the starting point for a broader establishment in second tier league in Sweden.

Västerås IK Sports Director Patrik Zetterberg comments;

-          Västerås IK regards concussions as a serious matter and for us it is important to take care of our players, not the least by actively engaging us and working together to increase the safety of the players.

PolarCool's Erik Andersson comments;

-          The fact that we have now received our first agreement in HockeyAllsvenskan is good news for us and shows that our establishment efforts in Sweden's second tier hockey division is now starting to yield results. Since our initial contact with Västerås IK, the club has shown a commitment to this issue, and with this step they become leaders in terms of actively working for the safety of their players. Our goal to ensure the best possible working environment for athletes continues and I am convinced that more organisations will now follow suit.
