Carl-Henrik Hammar appointed Managing Director of Ponsse’s Swedish subsidiary
Carl-Henrik Hammar (40) has been appointed Managing Director of Ponsse Plc’s Swedish subsidiary, Ponsse AB, as of 1 July 2015. Hammar will transfer to Ponsse on 16 March 2015.
Forest engineer Carl-Henrik Hammar transfers from the position of Stora Enso's Marketing Area Manager (Wood Supply Sweden). Hammar has worked with Stora Enso since 2001 in various supervisory positions in wood procurement, supply and logistics in Sweden and China. Hammar has extensive experience in different forest sector functions starting from early 1990s when he started his career as a forest machine operator.
Carl-Henrik Hammar reports to Jarmo Vidgrén, Sales and Marketing Director of Ponsse Plc, and will be based in Surahammar, Sweden. Eero Lukkarinen (49), current Managing Director of Ponsse AB, will transfer to exports and sales within Ponsse Group in Finland. This was announced in a release published on 3 November 2014.
Established in 1994, Ponsse AB is Ponsse Group's oldest subsidiary. The headquarters of Ponsse AB are located in Surahammar, Västmanland County, being responsible for Ponsse sales and maintenance services in Sweden and Denmark. The service network of local customers consists of two PONSSE service centres and 37 contractual PONSSE service partners. Ponsse's reseller, AN Maskinteknik AB, has been responsible for sales and maintenance services in Norrbotten County since 1989.
