Clyde/West, Inc. and Ponsse North America, Inc agree on cooperation

Clyde/West, Inc. and Ponsse North America, Inc have agreed on cooperation
regarding the US states of Oregon, Washington and Idaho. The agreement relates
to the retail sales and maintenance of PONSSE forest machines, harvester heads
and information systems.

Clyde/West, Inc. is a top-rated reseller of heavy off-road machinery in its
operating region, and it has nearly 100 years of experience in the business. The
company has a dealership with several leading brands such as Volvo, Bomag,
Hypac, Wagner and Tymco.

"This agreement is Ponsse's first retail agreement regarding the western region
of the United States. The agreement covers an annual wood harvesting volume of
approximately 60 million cubic metres (25.4 billion boardfeet), which is
approximately 10 per cent of the annual wood harvesting volume of 600 million
cubic metres (254 billion boardfeet) in North America. We aim to cover all
strategically important wood harvesting regions in North America," says
Arto Tiitinen, President and CEO of Ponsse Oyj.
