Cooperation negotiations completed at Ponsse
The cooperation negotiations initiated on 23 October 2012 have now been concluded at Ponsse Plc. The cooperation negotiations concerned possible adjustment of the company's operations to the weakened market situation and demand and temporary lay-offs for a maximum length of 90 days that may possibly result from this. The negotiations were conducted in good spirit, and the parties consider the solution found to be feasible.
The result of the negotiations means temporary lay-offs in all personnel groups and operations included in the scope of the negotiations. The temporary lay-offs apply to a maximum of 300 workers and 200 office workers in Finland. The lay-offs will start on 10 December 2012 at the earliest.
