PONSSE CONCLUDES PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH NAF

Ponsse Oyj and NAF Neunkirchener Achsenfabrik AG have signed a partnership
agreement aimed at long-term co-operation. Ponsse Oyj’s President and CEO, Arto
Tiitinen, says that this partnership agreement will ensure Ponsse’s
competitiveness and product quality in the future.

’Although we have been co-operating with NAF for a long time, this agreement will
only intensify our partnership. A close partnership will enable well-targeted,
customer-driven product development, making it possible for us to rise to future
challenges and ensure the utilisation of the best technologies even better.
Changing market challenges, such as fuel price hikes, will require us to make the
most of technology. We at Ponsse will invest in the development of our supplier
network and build a partnership network guaranteeing our future product quality.
We will seek partners that fulfil our high quality standards and are capable of
meeting the needs of our customer-led production. This agreement between NAF and
Ponsse will strengthen both companies’ competitiveness. We are able to provide NAF
with the world’s most advanced product expertise in cut-to-length forest machines
while co-operating with this committed partner on whose products and operations
not only we, but also our customers, can rely,’ explains Tiitinen.

Established in 1960, NAF Neunkirchener Achsenfabrik AG is a manufacturer of axles
and power transmission components, providing a wide power transmission equipment
range for construction, forest machine, agricultural and heavy-duty vehicle needs.
