Ponsse divides the world into six strategic areas

Ponsse has decided that its entire international sales and maintenance service
network will consist of six areas. The areas will be managed by the Vice-
Presidents who will be responsible for their specific areas. With the group
President and CEO they will establish the Global Sales Management Group. The new
organization's tasks include reacting quickly to changes in markets and customer
needs, development of the distribution network and creation of the prerequisites
for increasing sales. The areas will be responsible for providing training to
customers and the organization. In addition, we want to continue to strengthen
our customer-oriented operations by developing the availability of maintenance
services for all markets.

The regional division and Vice-Presidents:

North Europe: Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and the Baltic countries. VP
Jarmo Vidgrén, who will also continue as the head of sales operations in
Finland. The area is headquartered in Vieremä, Finland.

Central Europe and South Europe: VP Tapio Ingervo, who will also continue as the
head of our subsidiary in France. The area is headquartered in Gondreville,
France.

North America: VP Mikko Laurila, who will also continue as the head of our
subsidiary in North America. The area is headquartered in Rhinelander,
Wisconsin, United States.

Latin America: VP Claudio Costa, who will also continue as the head of our
subsidiary in Latin America. The area is headquartered in Mogi das Cruzes, São
Paulo, Brazil.

Russia: VP Ville Siekkinen, who will also continue as the head of our subsidiary
in Russia. The area is headquartered in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The sixth area will be established at a later date. The tasks of the head of
this area will include analysing and starting new markets in places such as
China, Australia and South Africa. The head of this area will be appointed at a
later date.

The area managers will report to the group President and CEO. The new
organization will be effective immediately.
