Zeppelin Russland becomes Ponsses dealer in Russia OOO Zeppelin Russland, a wholly-owned Russian subsidiary of Swiss- based Zeppelin International AG, and Ponsse Oyj have signed an agreement on cooperation in Russia. Zeppelin Russland, one of the worlds largest Caterpillar dealers, is to act as dealer for Ponsse products in Russia. The company has a practical service and spare parts network in place throughout the main market. " Zeppelin Russlands strengths include its good financial position, financing facilities available to its customers, a good insight into the market, service, spare parts and logistics functions that meet the exacting needs of the timber harvesting industry, as well as the possibility to use Ponsse harvester heads and measuring equipment on Caterpillar excavators. With our new partner, the foreseeable future seems promising in Russias forest machine market. Investments in local sawmills will increase the use of forest machines capable of cut-to-length logging and rising production capacities in the pulp and paper industry will generate demand for more new forest machines.
