Santa Claus’s Postal Outlet in Rovaniemi Serves You Also at Christmas
The Santa Claus Main Post Office (96930 Napapiiri) in Santa Claus Village serves its customers on every day of the year, including Christmas. You can get your last-minute Christmas greetings from the Santa Claus Main Post Office on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day because the postal outlet is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Otherwise, the outlet is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. during Christmas until January 6.

During Christmas time, we have four salespersons at work. The majority of our Christmas customers are foreign travelers mainly from England and Russia, but we also have some Central European and Asian customers. Our elves are fluent in many languages – at best we have served customers in 12 different languages at the Santa Claus Main Post Office,” Katja Tervonen says.
Throughout the year, the Santa Claus Main Post Office is visited by a number of foreign travelers. During Christmas and the end of the year, the majority of travelers are from Great Britain and Russia, whereas Central and Southern Europeans are frequent visitors in the summer. The Main Post Office receives many Asian groups around the year. Customer often ask many questions about mail, mailing, and letters received by Santa Claus, the Arctic Circle and Santa Claus, but also general questions about Rovaniemi, Lapland, the four seasons, natural phenomena such as aurora borealis and the midnight sun, the wildlife, and animals.
