PostNord Group is updating its organizational structure by establishing the “PostNord International” unit, which brings together Direct Link, PostNord’s German logistics operation and Worldwide Connect. At the same time, the Swedish and Danish TPL operations will be moved to a new unit, “PostNord Accelerate”, which will also include PostNord Strålfors. The change will take place on April 1, 2023.

The Group Leadership Team structure is being updated to further strengthen cooperation among the Nordic operations and to capitalize on the growth potential in international import volumes and third-party logistics.

PostNord International will be led by Peter Kjær Jensen, who is also Vice President of PostNord and Head of PostNord Denmark, and will consist of Direct Link, the German logistics business and Worldwide Connect.

PostNord Accelerate will include PostNord Strålfors and the third-party logistics operations in Sweden and Denmark. The unit will be led by Ylva Ekborn, who will also continue in her role as CEO of PostNord Strålfors Group.

“We see great growth potential in international import volumes and in our third-party logistics business. At the same time, we see significant potential value in PostNord Strålfors. Through greater coordination and a clearer focus, we wish to further strengthen our Nordic operations and position ourselves to be able to capitalize on the potential we see in front of us,” says Annemarie Gardshol, Group CEO and President PostNord.

The new Group Leadership Team structure will take effect on April 1, 2023 and does not involve any changes in personnel.
