Thomas Backteman to take over as Chief Communications Officer at PostNord

Thomas Backteman will succeed Per Mossberg as PostNord’s Chief Communications Officer. The succession will take place during the autumn before Per Mossberg’s planned retirement.

Today Thomas Backteman is partner at the communications consultant Hallvarsson & Halvarsson, where he works across the entire communications field, with specific responsibility for Hallvarsson & Halvarsson’s offering within transaction services. Backteman has a Master of Science in Business Administration from Stockholm University and has previously worked as Head of Communications at Swedbank and Studsvik.

Thomas Backteman will join PostNord in autumn 2017. After a brief transitional period, he will take up the position of Chief Communications Officer and also become a member of PostNord’s Group Executive Team. According to plans, Per Mossberg will retire from PostNord after year-end.
