Powerbox and AMETEK Programmable Power sign distribution agreement for Nordic countries and Portugal
Powerbox, one of Europe’s largest power supply companies and for more than four decades a leading force in optimizing power solutions for demanding applications, has announced it has signed a new, multi-year distribution agreement with AMETEK Programmable Power for the Nordic countries of Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and also Portugal in southern Europe.
In supporting customers’ product and system requirements for demanding applications, Powerbox (PRBX) has enjoyed a mutually fruitful business relationship for more than 15 years with AMETEK Programmable Power. The new distribution agreement signed between PRBX and AMETEK Programmable Power extends its capabilities to offer the most advanced power solutions for customers requiring differentiated power products and services. The large portfolio of AC and DC programmable power supplies, electronic loads, application specific power subsystems, and compliance test solutions will continue to complement PRBX power solutions, supporting customers with a range of products from something as simple as a low power, board mount power module to complex, multi kilowatt programmable power sources.

Under the distribution agreement PRBX will offer Elgar branded AC/DC programmable power supplies and modular loads, Elgar Integration Systems (SAS and BSS, custom solution), Sorensen branded DC programmable power supplies, AC & DC electronic loads, California Instruments branded AC power sources, and Amrel eLoad.
