Prevas Bioinformatics develops research data management solution for Biovitrum Prevas Bioinformatics and a project team at Biovitrum have together entered the first phase in an effort to create a data management solution for the Biovitrum research organization. The mission is to develop a system that integrates data from different stages in the research process. The project, of totally 60 man weeks, will create functionality for cross-database searches and decision tracking down to lab results. Biovitrum is a new and successful Swedish biotech company, and also one of Europe's largest biotech companies with more than 400 scientists. Biovitrum concentrates on research in metabolic diseases as obesity and type II diabetes.
