Prevas signs agreement with Nscale for HxGN EAM
Nscale will implement the cloud solution for improved control and maintenance of equipment and facilities.

Prevas AS today announced that Nscale, the hyperscaler engineered for AI, has signed an agreement for the purchase and implementation of HxGN EAM from Hexagon. Nscale will deploy the asset management solution to further improve monitoring and maintenance of equipment and facilities at its strategic data center in Glomfjord, within the Meløy municipality.
HxGN EAM is a leading Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution that offers comprehensive functionality for asset management, maintenance planning, and resource management. The solution is ranked as one of the top EAM systems internationally (Verdantix "Green Quadrant EAM 2024") and is used by numerous public and private sector customers across the Nordic region.
"We are pleased to collaborate with yet another customer in Norway," says Einar Alexander Andersen, Managing Director of Prevas Norway. "Prevas is the strategic partner for Hexagon on HxGN EAM in the Nordics and, with over 25 years of experience with the solution, we have worked closely with many customers for years. Through this implementation, Nscale will also be able to enhance its operational performance and ensure better control over its assets, which will undoubtedly provide a competitive advantage over time. We look forward to helping them maximize the value of their investment."
This implementation project is already underway and is expected to go live later this spring.
Nscale develops sustainable AI-ready data centers, deploys massive-scale GPU infrastructure, and delivers high-performance AI cloud services. This unique full-stack approach enables Nscale to co-design the data center and GPU supercluster infrastructure to deliver unrivalled speed, performance, and efficiency on AI workloads for customers.
“We’re committed to delivering sustainable, scalable high-performance computing, so organizations of any size can unlock the full potential of AI,” comments Alex Sharp, Chief Operating Officer at Nscale. “Three core principles underpin our rapid expansion: our customer-centric focus, relentless innovation, and an unwavering commitment to environmental responsibility. Our current plans to expand our Glomfjord data center from the existing 30MW site to 60MW – all powered by 100% renewable hydroelectric power – reflect this drive to provide sustainable AI compute with European data sovereignty at a more affordable cost for customers. Working with partners like Prevas that can provide solutions to support our ambitions as we continue to meet growing demand for generative AI is crucial.”
