Catena intellectual property protected internationally
BAARN, PROACT, Europe’s largest independent storage integrator, supplies international storage solution for Catena in Sweden and the Netherlands
Catena’s new NetApp storage environment is distributed across three locations: Delft, Son en Breugel, and Kista in Sweden. In total 115TB gross storage capacity is being supplied for high-performance, archive and backup data. Within the NetApp solution, use is made of Solid State devices, multi-tiering and cross-replication of primary and backup data between the Netherlands and Sweden.
This also makes use of NetApp’s SAN-based backup tool “Snapvault” as well as “Protection Manager”, all based on NetApp’s most recent core software release: Ontap 8. Proact’s Netherlands and Swedish organisations are working jointly on this project.
