EMC award for significant growth to Proact in Norway
10th of February 2012: After having delivered 300 percent growth in 2011 of EMC's backup and recovery services Proact was named this year's partner in the segment. The award was given to honor a commitment EMC describes as extraordinary and formidable.
Proact has since its inception in 1994 been closely related to EMC, and hold the highest level of certification on EMC’s technology. From the four largest cities in Norway Proact delivers services, products, consultancy, support, operations and training on EMC solutions, adapted to businesses of all sizes, to meet every need for information management.
- Proact has delivered unique results. They tripled sales and increased competence in the Norwegian market significantly. This is both through its own certification and by conducting training for many customers, says CEO of EMC, Jul Johansen.
- The award is new this year, and was created to find a way to honor Proact for their efforts, says Johansen.
- We have more than 20 consultants and support specialists who have a total of over 200 years of experience in hardware and software from EMC. Although we measure ourselves first and foremost, for efficient and solid customer deliveries, it is obviously fun to be honored by our suppliers, said Erik Pedersen, CEO of Proact in Norway.
Proact is the only company in Norway that can deliver full service 24x7 on EMC's Data Domain range from all branch offices, as well as supporting EMC Networker and all other products in this range.
- We have invested inEMC's backup and recovery portfolio during 2011. It feels good that our very competent EMC team delivers well above the targets we set for ourselves. We grow both financially and in terms of knowledge, says Pedersen.
