NDC mediagroep chooses Proact’s Hybrid Cloud model
NDC mediagroep recently signed a 3-year contract with Proact for the supply, implementation and management of a new storage and backup environment. This solution is unique: part of it is provided by NDC mediagroep itself and Proact is responsible for the remainder within its managed cloud services. The environment as a whole will serve as the basis for increasing availability and associated IT infrastructure services for NDC mediagroep.

Proact has provided a storage environment using Netapp FAS3240 Metrocluster where Snapshots take care of the backup part of the solution.
Proact Remote Management as a Service, a pay-per-use facility, delivers the ‘cloud’ part of the solution, which provides complete management of the NetApp solution. Proact MCS Vault services ensure a robust backup to a Proact data centre.
Within the new storage and backup solution, NDC mediagroep’s needs will be totally taken care of when it comes to management, while storage capacity will be provided at all times. In addition, the solution has the flexibility to respond to internal and external changes, in both technical and innovative areas, as well as working towards as low a total cost of ownership (TCO) as possible.
