Proact awarded G-Cloud iii Government framework status
Proact are pleased to announce that we have been successfully included in G-Cloud iii – the third procurement round for applications to join the Government’s exclusive G-Cloud framework.
Designed to streamline the procurement process and deliver best-value services to the public sector, the G-Cloud framework runs procurements every 3-6 months, encouraging a regular influx of suppliers and ultimately offering greater choice and flexibility for public sector buyers.
Proact have been awarded G-Cloud iii status for our Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) and Backup as a Service (BaaS) offerings, all of which can be delivered in a Hybrid Cloud model. In addition to this, Proact are pleased to announce that Probox, our enterprise secure file sharing service, is also available via G-Cloud iii. Probox allows public sector organisations to provide their users with secure access to their files anywhere, anytime and from any device - safe in the knowledge that their data is in held in our secure UK datacentres, or in their own datacentres.
‘With the Government now encouraging public sector organisations to use Cloud Services, Proact is excited to be part of the third generation of the Cloudstore’ says Gareth Lush, Director of Managed Cloud Services at Proact.
‘Our market-leading Cloud Services offer something unique to public sector customers – mature Cloud Services from one of Europe’s leading providers, with the ability to create a hybrid of models to suit all needs. We hope Cloudstore customers will see the value in the flexibility we can offer, and we look forward to working with the G-Cloud team to help our mutual customers extract maximum value form the Cloud.’
