Proact growing in Sundsvall with purchase of Riori
Proact IT Sweden AB, Proact’s Swedish subsidiary, is growing its operations in Sundsvall through the purchase of Riori. Riori Teknik AB operations and employees will remain active within Proact following the acquisition.
Proact opened a local office in Sundsvall in February 2010 and is now reinforcing its position on the local market by means of the purchase of Riori, a local system integrator specialising in storage and server solutions.
“Riori has a faithful client base in both private trade and the public sector. Riori’s staff hold the top levels of certification in the fields of both virtualisation and storage, which will help to further enhance Proact’s knowledge. Riori’s earlier business area in the field of consumer electronics and office equipment will be phased out,” says Lena Eskilsson, Regional Manager and Deputy MD at Proact IT Sweden AB. “With new colleagues from Riori, we have the opportunity to further meet our clients’ needs for expertise in our key fields of data storage, backup/recovery, archiving and disaster protection.”
Although Riori Teknik is a relatively small company, they work with lots of exciting clients in the northern region. Proact hopes to be able to expand the partnerships with these companies. “
“There is no overlap between the client bases of Riori and Proact,” explains Lena Eskilsson, “which makes this acquisition particularly interesting.”
Immediate takeover
Proact will be taking over operations at Riori Teknik AB as of 13 December 2010, and all operations and employees will become part of Proact with immediate effect.
