ProAct in Switzerland chosen to implement disaster tolerant storage solution for the SIS Group ProAct in March signed an agreement with the SIS Group in Switzerland for the implementation of a new SAN-based data management infrastructure, safekeeping the SIS Groups data with disaster recovery functionality. The order value is estimated close to five million SEK. Delivery will be made during second quarter. The SIS Group is the national Central Securities Depository (CSD) of the Swiss financial market and it also acts as an International Central Securities Depository (ICSD), providing complete services for the clearing, settlement and custody of national and international securities. The SIS Group provides innovative and tailor made solutions and are able to offer instruments and services for clearing transactions on a global basis. Safe and efficient data management is for SIS an absolute necessity. In order to achieve the demands, ProAct Datasystems AG has been chosen as a strategic partner.
