ProAct leaves the business ProAct Defcom AB Today the board of directors in ProAct Defcom AB has filed for bankruptcy at Sollentuna Tingsrätt. ProAct IT Group AB (publ) purchased the assets from former Defcom Sweden AB, with business in Managed Intrusion Detection, in March 2002. The intention with the purchase of the company, which has been operating under the name ProAct Defcom AB, was to increase ProActs business within security and other services that Defcom has specialized in. Unfortunately have not the hard-working employees and the investments that ProAct has made given any improvements to the company's result. No industrial solution has been identified why the decision has been made to file for bankruptcy. ProAct Defcoms running business has during 2002 charged about -8 MSEK to the EBITA result of the group, this was included in the information from December 2002. The bankruptcy affects approximately 20 people in Stockholm.
