Proact secures Tura Scandinavia AB’s IT
Proact has delivered a new IT infrastructure to technology distributor Tura Scandinavia AB. To achieve lower management costs, increase control and performance in the IT environment Proact has implemented a new infrastructure comprising of servers, switches and storage for Tura Scandinavia AB’s Nordic operations. Proact will also deliver 24 hours a day support services.
Tura Scandinavia AB is a Nordic distributor of accessories within audio & screens, data, photo & video, gaming, home & leisure, mobile, and GPS. Operations cover Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland with the headquarters localized in Kungsbacka, Sweden. During 2012 Tura Scandinavia AB identified the need for an updated IT infrastructure, to better meet the needs of the business operations.
- We needed to take our IT infrastructure to a new level, not just update old equipment. We are growing as a company and need an IT environment that can grow with us. It was vital for us to get better overview, control and power in our systems and Proacts solution has delivered just this. We have consolidated our Nordic IT environment to one central location from where we can deliver full function to all offices outside of Sweden in a very effective way, without compromising the level of security, says Nils Bernlo, Systems manager, Tura Scandinavia AB.
To meet the Tura Scandinavia AB’s need of performance and availability, Proact presented a whole new infrastructure. New servers, switches and new storage capacity in one consolidated environment have secured Tura Scandinavia AB’s IT function and made service delivery to the operations more effective. Tura Scandinavia AB has also chosen a backup solution, with scheduled backup, enabling constant data availability via a secondary storage site.
