ProAct signs major new deals with Statoil ProAct IT Group's subsidiary in Norway, ProAct Systems AS, has received two new orders for storage solutions. The solutions will be installed at Statoil's offices in London and Stavanger. The London office has purchased a cluster solution for extra high availability of mission critical information. The order value is 6 million SEK. The solution for the office in Stavanger includes the recent announced top model from Network Appliance, F880, and the order is worth 2,9 million SEK. Both solutions will be delivered in December 2001. The storage solutions will make the IT management more efficient, and meet the increasing demand for office automation at Statoil. NAS (Network Attached Storage) solutions from ProAct have already reduced the storage management administration for thousands of Microsoft users. ProAct Systems AS has delivered storage solutions to Statoil's offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm and the main offices in Norway. Choosing ProAct as a partner is in line with Statoil's storage strategy which was decided during spring 2001. - Statoil has chosen ProAct's storage solutions before. Our continued co- operation confirms our track record as a systems integrator for Statoil, says Ståle Aartun, Region Manager, ProAct Systems in Stavanger.
