ProAct to deliver new IT-infrastructure to Tele2 ProAct Datasystem, a leading integrator and specialist on infrastructure for business critical information, signed a contract with Tele2, the leading alternative pan-European telecommunications company, at the end of December 2001. The order is for a new solution for backup/restore of Tele2's IT-environment. In close competition with a number of other suppliers, ProAct has been assigned to replace Tele2's previous solution for backup/restore of the IT-environment. - A number of companies offer products for backup/restore, but very few can match our experience and considerable knowledge within this particular field. We focus on the information at hand rather than our specific products, which helps us deliver solutions that are custom-made to meet the specific demands of our clients, says Henrik Wahl, CEO ProAct Datasytem AB. The order includes equipment such as tape stations from StorageTek, a SAN-network, software from Legato and Veritas, as well as a new 24x7 all year round support agreement from ProActs own support organisation. ProAct and Tele2 discussed several options before deciding on the solution at hand.
