Further confidence in archive and storage specialist Proact has been demonstrated with the extension of an existing support agreement with an international supplier of outsourcing services. The deal is worth at least SEK 13 million.

The agreement now subject to extension gives Proact overall responsibility for support for one of the biggest clients of this outsourcing supplier, a leading organisation in the telecoms industry. This commission involves 24-hour support of IT systems for storage, backup and archiving and is applicable to both hardware and software, as well as consultancy services. The new agreement will be in force for a further year, and the total order value is in the order of SEK 13 million. This support agreement covers the client company’s operations in 15 European countries. In addition to support, Proact will also streamline and develop operations in respect of resource utilisation, time, availability and future investments. In the various countries, the client company has a range of platforms for its IT operations, so demanding both broad and in-depth knowledge of storage and archiving. “We view the extension of this agreement as yet more proof that our clients truly appreciate our experience and expertise, as well as our supplier independence. As we are expanding out operations to additional countries in Europe, we can also take on more business with clients operating internationally,” says Olof Sand, CEO and Group President of Proact.
