Proact to secure Forsman & Bodenfors’ IT Infrastructure
Proact will deliver a new IT Infrastructure to advertising agency Forsman & Bodenfors. The solution includes a new storage environment, a server structure that responds to both existing and future data storage needs while also providing Forsman & Bodenfors with the flexibility in the IT environment required by the core operations. Proact will also deliver local support.
Forsman & Bodenfors (F&B) is one of Sweden’s largest advertising agencies with offices in both Stockholm and Gothenburg. F&B has been noted both nationally and internationally for its work with several of Sweden’s largest brands, including the popular commercials with Jean-Claude van Damme and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
F&B works extensively with “heavy” formats such as video and images, which is creating large, unwieldy and growing amounts of data.
”We decided to go with a future-proof setup comprising a storage solution, optimised backup and virtualisation of servers. That is where Proact’s specialists came in with valuable knowledge, says Piero Giobbi, CTO, Forsman & Bodenfors.
Proact's solution includes primary and backup storage and both physical and virtual servers. The scalable solution can easily be expanded as needs grow. The storage solution also provides a simple and fast backup management by taking so-called "snapshots" of stored data and store only changes of the data, not a full copy. The agreement also includes local support from Proact.
