The Nomination Committee of Proact IT Group AB proposes that Anna Söderblom be elected Chairperson of the Board at the Annual General Meeting on 5 May 2022.

“In the Nomination Committee's evaluation of different candidates, we have prioritised, among other things, previous experience from board work in listed companies, but also from acquisition strategies, understanding of the business model, and the ability to challenge and follow up management. Strategic height and modern leadership have also been prioritised. It is now with pleasure that we can present such a well-qualified candidate as Anna Söderblom for the position of Chairperson of Proact,” says Malin Ruijsenaars, Chairperson of the Nomination Committee

Anna Söderblom holds a PhD in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics and a degree in Mathematics from Lund University. She currently works as a teacher and researcher at Stockholm School of Economics, focusing on financing for small businesses and start-ups. In addition, she is Chairperson of Echandia Group and currently a board member of Cabonline Group, Länsförsäkringar Liv, BTS Group, Midway Holding, Almi Företagspartner, B3 Consulting Group and Dedicare. Söderblom also has years of operational experience from Microsoft, Posten and Industrifonden and 15 completed board assignments, including Svenska Spel, Bredbandsbolaget, Poolia, ReadSoft, Bong, Svenska riskkapitalföreningen and Avega Group. Söderblom is independent of the company and its major shareholders.

”I am very pleased and honoured that the Nomination Committee has proposed me as Chairperson of the Board of Proact. Proact has a unique position in the market – with a strong offering of services for secure data and information management – in a rapidly evolving industry. I am looking forward to an exciting assignment and to further develop the company together with my colleagues on the Board, the management and the other employees of Proact,” says Anna Söderblom.

As previously communicated, Proact's current Chairperson Eva Elmstedt has informed the Nomination Committee that she is not available to the Nomination Committee for the 2022 Annual General Meeting.

”After 13 years on the Board, including four as Chairperson, I have declined re-election. It feels safe to hand over the Chairpersonship to Anna Söderblom, who has both industry experience and a solid track record of board work. This will ensure that Proact continues its successful journey," says Eva Elmstedt

The Nomination Committee consists of the company's four largest shareholders in terms of votes as of 30 September 2021, represented by Malin Ruijsenaars, Chairperson (Aktiebolaget Grenspecialisten), Stephanie Göthman (Livförsäkringsbolaget Skandia), Johannes Wingborg (Länsförsäkringar Fondförvaltning AB) and Karin Möllborg (Carey Trustees Limited). The Nomination Committee's other proposals will be published in connection with the notice of the 2022 Annual General Meeting.
