MMR Research Worldwide bolsters its UK team with six new hires

MMR Research Worldwide stands to benefit from fresh talent and expertise as six new recruits have been welcomed to the consumer insight and sensory specialist for the food, drink, personal and household care sectors. At a senior level, associate director Helen Stratton brings 13 years’ research experience, whilst sensory qualitative senior research executive, Joanna Kissick, has left behind foreign climates to join MMR in the UK.  The new members of the MMR team will be split between the company’s Wallingford, Oxfordshire headquarters and its London office.

Helen Stratton, associate director, joins MMR’s London team from the Central Office of Information, where she spent four years in Research & Insight, managing qualitative and quantitative research to inform government policy and communications campaigns. Helen has 13 years’ industry experience, having also worked for TNS-RI specialising in consumer research for key food and drink clients.

Joanna Kissick, sensory qualitative senior research executive, comes to MMR from her native New Zealand, having also spent time in Australia and most recently the Netherlands, where she has held a range of sensory and consumer science roles within Fonterra Dairy Co-Operative Ltd for the past six years. 

Sonu Kaur, survey creator, joins after four years’ experience of programming within the market research industry. An IT graduate from Reading University, Sonu previously worked at Research Now, programming studies across the travel, insurance, sports and food and drink industries.  

Lesley Potter, research executive, took time to teach English in France and travel across Africa prior to starting her career in market research.  Lesley gained nearly three years’ experience working at BASES Nielsen, working primarily on the Reckitt Benckiser account, before joining MMR.

Abigail Horsley, trainee research executive, has opted for a career in the market research industry having completed a Master’s degree in social and cultural theory at Bristol University. She is leaving behind her West Country home to join MMR’s London office.

Scott Gibson, trainee research executive, will be working closely with MMR’s London team as a trainee research executive having graduated from Lancaster University in 2011 after studying sociolinguistics.
