Oxfordshire PR company named ‘Outstanding Small Consultancy’ at CIPR Excellence Awards 2013
Banbury-based specialist PR and marketing agency, Propel Technology, has won a Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Excellence Award, in the category of Outstanding Small Consultancy.
Propel Technology – specialists in helping automotive, motorsport and technology organisations - beat five finalist agencies to win the title, in one of 29 categories under the public relations professions’ most prestigious annual awards scheme.
“I speak for the whole team at Propel Technology when I say how delighted we are to have been recognised with this award,” says director at Propel Technology, Nick Bailey.
“The CIPR awards are the pinnacle of our industry. To receive national recognition for our team is something my fellow director, Claire Dumbreck, and I could only dream of when we started this agency just three years ago. This is a real first for Propel Technology and certainly gives our team a well-deserved boost to continue onwards and upwards.”
The award was presented at the 29th CIPR Excellence Awards black tie dinner at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Monday 3 June.
The CIPR website details, “Propel Technology is a genuine consultancy, not just a bolt-on public relations offering. The enthusiasm, ambition and sheer drive of the founders helped single them out as the Outstanding Small Consultancy of the Year.”
Propel Technology offers technology firms a one stop shop, via its ‘virtual PR and marketing department’ service to outsource all marketing functions including strategy, media relations and day-to-day marketing activities. The award was won following analysis of the company’s financials, client wins and endorsements and growth plans.
