MERCHANT GOURMET GIVES TOMATOES FRESH SEALED APPEAL
Merchant Gourmet has repackaged its Original Sun Dried Tomatoes to further its appeal with the cook from scratch crowd. The brand’s top selling tomato product will now be sold in re-sealable pouches which are expected to hit supermarket shelves from April 2010. The new packaging will improve the product’s quality and appearance, both in the pack and on the shelves. It will also encourage consumers to use the tomatoes as an everyday ingredient, to flavour a wide range of meals rather than just one recipe.
