More from the Company Monthly Newsletter November 2019
During the month of November, we have continued our development and documentation work. The negotiations regarding our long-term financing have continued, another patent application was submitted to PRV (The Swedish Patent and Registration Office), our Notified Body, TÜV Süd, conducted its annual audit of our Quality Management System and we participated at Stora Aktiedagen in Stockholm.
Our notified body, TÜV Süd, conducted their annual recertification review of our Quality Management System according to ISO 13485:2016 for two days. It was a well-conducted inspection and review of our Quality Management System. The positive outcome of the inspection shows that we work in accordance with ISO 13485:2016 on a daily basis and that we were well-prepared.
We signed a Letter of Intent with Biovation Sciences Ltd. relating to the long-term financing. As we need additional time to discuss and negotiate a solution, we decided to cancel the Extraordinary General Meeting. We will revert within two weeks with more information.
We filed a patent application in November, "Device and method for cerebral temperature control", with The Swedish Patent and Registration Office that strengthens our main patent. We are continuing the work on a few more thoughts and ideas that we intend to pursue in the form of patent applications within a few months.
Together with 64 other companies, we participated at Stora Akiedagen (arranged by the Swedish Shareholders' Association) in Stockholm. A total of 470 people visited the exhibition and presentations and another 3000 participated via the web broadcast. A total of 20,000 people are expected to watch the presentations. I seized the opportunity of meeting many visitors at QuickCool's booth. Our presentation was well attended. It was basically completety full.
