Qvantum Industries expands network: New distributors in Czech Republic, Spain and Portugal

Swedish heat pump manufacturer Qvantum is rapidly expanding its distribution network. After establishing companies in UK, Germany, Netherlands and Hungary, distribution agreements have now been signed with major partners in Czech Republic, Spain, and Portugal.

“Our aim is to change the way the cities of Europe are heated. To achieve this, we are now expanding the network of distributors necessary to make it happen,” says Lars Bierlein, Head of New Markets.

The newest additions to the international network are Czech Republic, Spain, and Portugal.

For Spain and Portugal a distribution agreement has been signed with Sedical S.A. A company that was established in 1977 and specializes in complete systems for efficient energy use. Today, the company boasts 12 branch offices and 10 authorized service centers across the Iberian peninsula.

“In 2022 we decided to make a major commitment to heat pumps. After conducting an in-depth market analysis, we found that Qvantum was our perfect match,” says Antonio Balbás, Business Development Manager at Sedical SA.

“We’re not just a distributor; we’re committed to solving problems on a large scale, and Qvantum's ambitions are fully in line with our own.

In Czech Republic, heat pump pioneer GT-Energy is the new distributor. Since its inception in 1991, the company has installed over 30.000 heat pumps.

“The market is booming here”, says GT-Energy Dan Johansson. “This is especially true for large-scale projects – which are our focus. We feel that Qvantum’s product range fits very well in our offering, and the company spirit is so in line with our own.”

Qvantum was founded in 1993 and manufactures a wide range of heat pumps, from its unique, award-winning apartment heat pump, to massive systems up to several megawatts. Recently the company announced that it has acquired one of the largest refrigerator factories in Europe and is shifting it into a mega factory for heat pumps.
