Top names join management team at Swedish heat pump company, Qvantum
During the autumn additional top names in the energy industry have joined the Swedish heat pump company Qvantum. Helen Carlström takes over responsibility for R&D, and Stefano Poppi for Product Management. Both will be part of the company's management team. The company is growing rapidly, and the next generation of leaders is now coming onboard to secure the industrial phase of the company journey.
New members of the management team
Stefano Poppi has extensive experience in the heat pump industry and most recently held a position as Global Product Manager at NIBE. Stefano has a Ph.D. from KTH (Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden) and an Executive MBA from Trieste School of Management.
"I have previously followed the company and see the potential of their products to make the energy transition a reality. The solutions of the future are distributed and digital", says Stefano Poppi.
"I am very happy that Stefano is joining our journey at Qvantum. He has the right experience for this role and will be a key player in providing Europe with Qvantum products that will make cities fossil-free", says Peter Jocic who is handing over the Product Management function to Stefano.
Helen Carlström comes most recently from E.ON as responsible for sales and growth in new markets for ectogrid - E.ON’s cutting-edge innovation in energy systems for heating and cooling. Helen has a Master of Science degree and many years designing energy systems at E.ON as well as at Grontmij.
"Qvantum is a new type of heat pump company focusing on developing heat pumps and software for energy systems, like the ones I have been part of scaling across several European markets. I’m very much looking forward to being part of the team designing the products needed for these solutions", says Helen Carlström.
"The understanding of the energy systems that Helen brings with her will be a valuable asset to Qvantum’s journey towards providing Europe with sustainable energy systems, says Fredrik Rosenqvist", CEO of Qvantum.
Getting Qvantum ready for industrial scale
With the two additions to the management team, the company now has all leaders in place for scaling the company industrially. One of Qvantums founders, Peter Jocic, will take on a more strategic role as a Senior Advisor in guiding the company forward.
"Peter has exceptional experience from the heat pump industry and will continue to be very important in shaping Qvantums strategy and overall direction as we move forward", says Fredrik Rosenqvist. "We are now introducing the next generation of leaders in Qvantum and Peter has taken on an important role in supporting and guiding them."
