Press release from the Extra General Meeting of Rabbalshede Kraft AB (publ)

Rabbalshede Kraft AB (publ) (the “Company”) announced today that Stine Rolstad Brenna has been appointed as Chair of the Board of Directors. Mrs Rolstad Brenna has been a director of the Company since April 2017 and assumes the position from the outgoing Chair, Mr Bertil Villard.

Mrs Rolstad Brenna is an experienced senior executive in the Nordic energy industry, having previously served as CFO and Senior Vice President of E-CO Energi Holdings AS (Norway’s 2nd largest power producer) and Chair of the Board for E-CO’s Pension Fund. Mrs Rolstad Brenna brings to the Company a wealth of executive and board level experience across various industries. She currently sits on the boards of Lyse AS (Stavanger based utility and telecom group), Boligbygg Oslo KF (Oslo’s social housing), Oslo Vognselskap AS, in addition to a number of start-up tech companies. Mrs Rolstad Brenna previously spent over 20 years in senior finance and leadership roles across Norwegian private companies. She holds a Master's degree in Management from BI Norwegian School of Management.

Commenting on the announcement of the change of Chair, Frederic de Stexhe, Director of the Company, said “At the time of Bertil Villard’s appointment as Chair of the Board of Directors, Bertil made it clear that he would take up the position for only a limited period. Following on from this, the time has now come for him to step back from the Board and end his tenure as Chair. Bertil has contributed significantly to creating good governance at the Company since his appointment two years ago and the Board of Directors is grateful for his valued contribution.”

Noting the appointment of Mrs Rolstad Brenna, Mr de Stexhe stated “The Board is delighted that Stine Rolstad Brenna is taking on the important role of Chair of the Board of Rabbalshede Kraft at this exciting time for the Company.
