Changes in Raisio Group’s Executive Committee

The composition and responsibilities of Raisio plc’s Executive Committee are changed in order to better support company’s activities in the changed business environment. During the past 12 months the structure of the company has significantly changed as the company has divested both the Russian sales company and the fish feed business Raisioaqua. In August 2022 Raisio launched a comprehensive, long-term transformation program to accelerate the implementation of company’s strategy.

The work of the Executive Committee will be reorganized. In addition, the Executive Committee will have two new members and two current members will leave. The changes are effective from 13 April 2023.

M.Sc. (Econ. and Business Admin) Annika Boström-Kumlin, 45, has been appointed as Raisio Group’s Chief Marketing Officer. She will be responsible for the marketing of Raisio’s all brands and for Raisio Group’s Communications. Earlier as Chief Business Officer she was responsible for the marketing of plant-based food and grain-based products and for Raisio Group’s communications.

M.Sc. (Econ. and Business Admin) Mikko Lindqvist, 44, has been appointed as Raisio Group’s Chief Sales Officer. He will be responsible for Raisio Group’s sales. Earlier as Chief Business Officer Lindqvist was responsible for the Group’s research and product development, innovation activities and Benecol® marketing. Lindqvist will also be responsible for innovations until middle of August.

M.A. (Economics, Management), M.Sc. (Economics, Finance) Olavi Erkinjuntti, 40, has been appointed as Chief Development Officer and a member of the Executive Committee. He will continue to lead the transformation program which aims to accelerate the implementation of company’s strategy, but he will also be responsible for Raisio Group’s Human Resources. Erkinjuntti has worked in several positions in the Raisio Group for about ten years.

Doctor of Science in Food Technology Reetta Kivelä, 46, was appointed as Chief Innovation Officer and a member of the Executive Committee effective 14 August 2023. She will take over the leadership of Raisio’s research and product development organisations. Current Chief Customer Officer and Chief People Officer positions will end and Chief Customer Officer Iiro Wester and Chief People Officer Taru Ämmälä will leave the Raisio Group.
