MOUNT AIRY SHOPPING CENTER HOSTS FREE PIRATE EVENT

Entertainment includes treasure hunt and moonbounceThe merchants of Mount Airy Shopping Center are hosting their annual free pirate event on Saturday, May 4 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. rain or shine. The event will feature a store-to-store treasure hunt, moonbounce, balloon artist, face painter, and giveaways. Merchants will host sidewalk sales, in-store promotions and product demonstrations.  “One of our customers says that coming to the event is a date with her son.” said George Rue, owner of Eagle Jewelers. “We see familiar faces every year, and some children even come dressed up as
